Your mission
The IT & Security Engineer is responsible for diagnosing, resolving, and improving technical issues related to IT infrastructure, software, hardware, and all technical devices used by end users.
On the security side, the IT & Security Engineer develops, implements, and maintains security solutions to protect company systems, applications, and IT infrastructure from cyber threats. You will work closely with the IT department and other teams to enforce best security practices and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
IT Support & Administration (approx. 50%)
- Provide 1st/2nd line IT support for internal users (M365, Azure IaaS, ICT devices, networks).
- Manage user accounts, endpoints, patches, and backups.
- Support infrastructure administration (AD, Azure AD, Intune, VPN, printers, Windows, Linux).
- Diagnose and resolve complex IT and software issues.
- Support and maintain applications, networks, and system configurations.
- Collaborate with all departments to identify and resolve issues, performance bottlenecks, and security problems.
- Implement IT solutions, automation scripts, and system updates to improve usability.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and network components.
- Support management of user access and system updates.
- Resolve user issues and escalate complex cases to specialized teams.
- Maintain IT inventory and documentation.
- Manage incident response and problem resolution processes.
- Provide technical training and guidance for end users.
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies and procedures.
- Implement, maintain, and monitor security tools (EDR, vulnerability management, MFA, etc.).
- Coordinate and perform vulnerability management and remediation.
- Monitor and respond to alerts, logs, cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents.
- Investigate incidents and support incident response activities.
- Develop and implement security solutions, processes, standards, and procedures to protect IT systems.
- Manage firewalls, endpoint protection, and intrusion detection systems (IDS/IPS).
- Collaborate with IT teams to secure cloud environments, networks, and data centers.
- Provide technical support for security-related incidents, events, and issues.
- Assist in troubleshooting, investigating, and remediating security threats and incidents.
- Document security incidents and recommend improvements.
- Work with IT teams to ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.
- Support identity and access management (IAM) and related technical solutions.
- Assist with asset inventories, access reviews, and enforcement of security policies.
- Collaborate with InfoSec/Compliance regarding ISO 27001, GDPR, NIS2, and other security regulations, audit activities, and technical control implementations.
- Conduct employee training on technical aspects of security awareness and best practices.
