Senior Software Quality Engineer for AI-Driven Software Development

This role requires a senior professional who can holistically manage quality across the entire SDLC, with a special focus on the integration of AI elements like ChatGPT, OpenAI Codex, AI agents. The Senior Software Quality Engineer will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all aspects of the software development process, from initial planning to final delivery, adhere to the highest standards of quality, particularly in the unique context of AI-driven development.

• Primary Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain quality standards across all phases of the SDLC in an AI-driven software development project.
  • Coordinate with various teams, including software architects, developers, requirements managers and AI specialists, to ensure quality considerations are integrated at every stage.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive quality management plans, including metrics and benchmarks tailored for AI-driven processes.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality standards, incorporating feedback from AI systems and project outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software quality, adapting these to the unique aspects of AI-driven development.

• Hands-on experience with Playwright or Cypress, along with modern QA frameworks, tooling, and testing practices.
• Comprehensive understanding of the entire SDLC, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Profound understanding of software testing.
• Hands-on experience in software development or test automation development
• Hands-on experience with DevOps environment for instance configuration of CI/CD pipelines, dockers. 
• Strong leadership and project management skills to oversee and coordinate quality initiatives across different teams.
• Proficient in implementing and managing quality assurance processes and systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with all stakeholders.
  Specific Skills for AI-Driven SDLC:
  • General interest on how LLMs like ChatGPT influence each phase of the SDLC.
  • General interest on AI Agentic Workflows with tools like OpenAI Codex.
  • Ability to develop and implement quality management strategies tailored for AI-integrated development processes.
  • Expertise in identifying and addressing quality challenges unique to AI-driven environments, such as ensuring the reliability and appropriateness of AI-generated outputs.
  • Strong adaptability to continuously evolve quality standards and practices in line with AI advancements and project needs.
