Your mission

We are looking for an IT Support Specialist to ensure stable and efficient IT operations across Asseco. In this role, you will take ownership of day-to-day support activities, helping Kolleg*innen resolve technical issues and keeping our workplace technology running smoothly.

You will work closely with teams across the organization, acting as the first point of contact for IT-related topics. Your focus will be on diagnosing and resolving incidents, maintaining systems and equipment, and continuously improving the user experience in a modern IT environment.

Your contribution will directly impact productivity, security, and the overall quality of IT services within Asseco.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level IT support for end users and business applications
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to hardware, software, networks, and end-user devices
  • Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment and system components
  • Support and maintain applications, system configurations, and network environments
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify and resolve performance and security issues
  • Manage user accounts, access rights, and system updates
  • Escalate complex issues to specialized teams and coordinate resolution
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and ensure proper documentation of systems and processes
  • Handle incidents and support problem resolution in line with internal processes
  • Provide guidance and basic training to end users on IT tools and systems
  • Ensure compliance with IT security standards, policies, and procedures

Your profile

To succeed in this role, you combine solid technical expertise with a hands-on and service-oriented mindset. You enjoy solving problems, supporting users, and working in a structured way within a dynamic environment.

You bring the following skills and experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in IT support, desktop support, or system administration
  • Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, and macOS environments
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure services
  • Good understanding of networking, virtualization, and endpoint management
  • Practical experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • Familiarity with scripting (e.g. PowerShell) and basic SQL knowledge
  • Understanding of IT security principles and cloud technologies
  • Experience working with ticketing systems and remote support tools
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Clear communication skills and a user-focused approach

Nice to have
  • Experience with ERP systems and related troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of automation and scripting for IT operations
  • Exposure to database management and support
  • Certifications in relevant IT areas
